THE VISUAL HEALING LIBRARY
VISION BOOK
SEVEN

Welcome.
Thank you for joining me here.
YOU ARE CREATION is the seventh book in the ongoing series of vision books in THE VISUAL HEALING LIBRARY.
Over time, the library shelves will be brimming with visual stories you can dip into to explore the profoundly healing realms of Spirit + Matter.
We change the world with our energy and the quality of our attention.
With love, and all the blessings of Creation,

YOU ARE CREATION
Every person who has ever been born, who will ever be born, carries a unique fingerprint. No two people will ever share the exact same vocal resonance as you.
Your voice - the expression of who you are - is already unique.
Everything about you is an expression of this uniqueness.
Your natural, unforced uniqueness holds a deep longing to communicate itself. The cadence of your voice, your thoughts, your feelings, your images, your essence, your soul - each longs for places to share, to be heard, to be known.
Without the fullness of your incarnation - without your energetic creative blueprint, the world would be a different place - a lesser place.
Your imagination, your creativity, your presence yearn to speak, to show up fulsomely in the world.
It may come through writing, through exploring scientific frontiers, through travelling to new lands, it may dance itself through you in wild and delicate twirls, or proclaim itself in paint, or reveal itself in acts of wholehearted love for one person or many others...
It may whisper in the way you speak to friends or how you hold a child - your own, or a stranger’s - or in a moment of connection across a shop counter.
You have an original voice, an essential soulprint, an energetic pattern that longs to connect, to communicate, to express herself with and to another - or many others.
You came for this.
You were born for this.

Each of these paintings is created working with Visual Medicine™️ - a creative spiritual practice that I have developed over the last twenty years.
The images in a sense are born, rather than being painted intentionally. Watercolour paper is dipped into fluid paint allowing the wet surface to recieve an image. What arises is a message - a coded transmission from the Universe/Source/Spirit to you.
Every image reveals the uniqueness of itself through its own distinctive pattern - even when it looks similar - it is unrepeatable. The images are a living metaphor for the unique creative energy that we, and Anima Mundi - the world soul holds.
The paintings are a mimetic archive entreating us to remember and cherish our own unique incarnational contribution to the world.
Flowers carry these same patterns - every blossom expressing its own unique presence while echoing the greater pattern of interconnectedness.
Patterns are the language of creation that live in our bodies: ganglial conversations, links between neurons, cellular structures mirrored in our emotional patterns.
Through these shared patterns we are utterly and infinitely connected to our Kin in the living world.

Flowers are a language that we have largely forgotten how to hear. For our ancestors, listening to the flowers was a matter of kinship and survival as natural as listening to the phases of the moon, the cycles of the season, and the voices of human kin. While the larger culture estranges us from these inner and outer voices, every moment is an opportunity to reconnect with our capacity to listen.
Each type of flower is a unique voice - a unique aspect of our Mother Earth Herself - just as each person is unique. Flowers speak with a wisdom gained through living on this planet for millennia and learning to adapt to an ever-changing world.
Mary Porter Kerns - from her Oracle deck: The Flowers are Speaking

You must give birth to your images. They are the future waiting to be born. Fear not the strangeness you feel. The future must enter you long before it happens. Just wait for the birth, for the the hour of the new clarity.
Rainer Maria Rilke - Letters to a Young Poet

YOU ARE CREATION

Below scatterings of Visual Medicine™ paintings interspersed with photos from James Webb telescope showing the birth of a nebula, fungi at the bottom of a glass, Tasmanian tree fern, a map of the actual shape of the Universe - Laniakea, and rare formations of rainbow clouds.
Can you tell which images are paintings and which images are photos?
I would love to hear
from you.
